<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater that has a configuration capable of partially detaching a columnar vertical frame and thus enables improvement of work efficiency at a piping connection portion, etc.SOLUTION: A storage water heater 1 includes an exterior case 5 and a tank unit 2 accommodated in the exterior case 5. The exterior case 5 comprises: a frame member 6 including a plurality of vertical frames 11 and a plurality of horizontal frames 12 for interconnecting the vertical frames 11; and an outer plate 7 covering the outer surface. A piping connection portion 15 connected to piping on an external apparatus side including an external heat source machine is disposed in a lower portion of the tank unit 2 in an externally opened state. A lower portion of the vertical frame 11 corresponding to the piping connection portion 15 comprises a detachable support column member 22, and a mounting portion to which a piping cover 18 for covering the piping connection portion 15 is mountable is disposed in the support column member 22.</p> |
