PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material of metal and carbon fiber with an outside surface having high mechanical strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite material 1A in which a plurality of metal layers 2 and carbon fiber layers 3 are alternately laminated in such a way that metal layers 2a and 2b are arranged at laminated-direction outermost sides, respectively, and these layers are unified by diffusion bonding. The thickness of each outermost metal layers 2a and 2b is set to be thicker than each inside metal layer 2c arranged between the outermost metal layer 2a and 2b. |
