Provided are a colored composition, a cured film, a color filter, a production method for color filters, a solid-state imaging element, and an image display device that are capable of maintaining uniform colored pattern line widths, even if the colored composition is left for long periods. The colored composition comprises a pigment multimer (A) and a solvent (B). The pigment multimer (A) has an anion moiety and a partial structure derived from a xanthene pigment having a cation moiety. The toluene concentration in the colored composition is 0.001-10 ppm.
