<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance system for picking commodity, which improves conveyance efficiency and makes the arrangement of commodities to destinations efficient, by reducing load on a worker for a container conveyance.SOLUTION: One of commodity storage containers allocated according to commodity categories is placed onto a picking cart. A commodity corresponding to a category allocated to the container is picked and stored into the container from a shelf. Onto this container, another commodity storage container is placed in two layers. A commodity is picked and stored into the container in the same manner. The commodity storage container and the other commodity storage container, into which the commodities have been stored and which have been arranged in two layers, are treated as one conveyance container group. The conveyance container group is pushed out onto the picking cart, thereby loading the conveyance container group onto a conveyance belt conveyor. A predetermined number of conveyance container groups received on the downstream side of the belt conveyor are sequentially stacked and held onto a conveyance cart. After the predetermined number of the conveyance container groups are stacked and held, the conveyance cart is conveyed to a shipping destination.</p> |
