<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly information display terminal that is light-weighted and tireless even for a long period of use while having a large display device. <P>SOLUTION: An information display terminal 1 includes a flexible display device 2, a housing upper part 31 and a housing lower part 32 holding the display device, and a holding part 36. The housing lower part 32 is a box having a bottom face 37 and a side wall. The side wall includes a first side wall 35. The holding part 36 stretches from the first side wall 35 to the outside of the housing lower part 32. An upper face 38 of the first side wall 35 and the upper face 38 of the holding part fix the back face of the display device 2. The cross-sectional width in the upper face 38 of the first side wall 35 and holding part 36 is wider than that in the bottom face 37. The display device 2 is lighter than the housing lower part 32. The center of gravity of the information display terminal 1 is located in the housing lower part 32. Since the display device 2 is flexible, the entire information display terminal 1 can be thin and light. Further, even when a user grips the housing lower part 32, the torque applied to the user becomes significantly small, allowing a long period of use without fatigue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
