The present invention relates to a composition containing a small-molecule compound for maintaining the chromosome stability of pluripotent stem cells and, more specifically, to a composition for maintaining the chromosome stability of induced pluripotent stem cells, containing an ROCK inhibitor, an MEK inhibitor, an ALK5 inhibitor, or an antioxidant for inhibiting a step of inducing pluripotent stem cells and structural and numerical mutations or DNA damage of the chromosomes during an inducing process and culture. The composition for maintaining the chromosome stability of induced pluripotent stem cells, containing a small-molecule compound, according to the present invention, increases the dedifferentiation rate and efficiency when the induced pluripotent stem cells are produced and has excellent effects for inhibiting structural and numeral mutations of chromosomes, thereby being very useful to develop an induced pluripotent stem cell therapeutic agent having excellent chromosome stability. |
