<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device control method and a recording device that can surely put a long target transported while being supported along a transport route into a status of tension along the transport route. <P>SOLUTION: The control method is employed for the recording device that includes: a support means for supporting the target; a recording means; a first drive roller that rolls the target; and a second drive roller that rolls the target. When the target is transported, the first drive roller is driven by controlling the rotation amount, and the second drive roller is driven by controlling the torque based on the first to fourth control torque values, so that the fourth control torque values T1, T2, T3, and T4 are set lower than the first control torque value T1 at the time of the target transport stopping, the second control torque value T2 higher than the first control torque value T1, and the third control torque value T3 higher than the first control torque value T1 and lower than the second control torque value T2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
