The present invention has an objective of providing a multiple view point image processing apparatus and an image processing method thereof which prevent an image distortion at an on screen display (OSD) area by performing a depth compensation at the OSD area included in a 3D image. A multiple view point image processing apparatus is disclosed. The multiple view point image processing apparatus comprises: a depth extracting unit extracting depth information of an inputted 3D image; a depth compensating unit which compensates for a depth of the OSD area based on OSD mask information corresponding to the OSD area in the 3D image and the extracted depth information; and a rendering unit rendering a multiple view point image by using the depth-compensated 3D image. |
