<p>A tubular heater has a tubular casing and a heating conductor running in the tubular casing, wherein insulating material is provided between the heating conductor and the tubular casing. The heating conductor is provided with an electrical connection in a connecting section of the tubular heater, wherein, in this case, the insulating material is mixed with specialty silicone with an RTI value of at least 150, advantageously at least 200. The silicone generally prevents the ingress of water and moisture, and the specialty silicone with the high RTI value is highly temperature-resistant.</p> |
