<p>The present invention relates to a data service, a voice call system and a method thereof capable of simultaneously providing a voice call and a data service for the internet via a wireless wide area network (WWAN) modem installed for customer premises equipment (CPE). The data service and the voice call system using the wireless wide area network modem is configured to enable one of a first WWAN modem (110) and a second WWAN modem (120) to perform a data service and the other to perform a voice call service based on wireless mobile communications. The data service and voice call system comprises a host controller; the first WWAN modem connected to the host controller via a first interface unit (160); the second WWAN modem connected to the host controller via a second interface unit (170); a POTS controller (130) connected to the host controller and connected to the first and the second WWAN modem via the first and the second interface unit; a LAN interface unit (140) connected to the host controller; and a WLAN interface unit (150).</p> |
