The present invention relates to a grinding device of a hard brittle plate and a method for measuring and compensating for machining accuracy. In terms of a grinding device of a polar coordinate, the grinding device automatically sets up a compensation value on the basis of a measurement of a work processed with a camera, detecting a delivered error of the work, and a measured result. With the camera, images of two portions for one side of a counter side of the processed work and those of a plurality of portions for the other side are gained. The grinding device calculates the length of a vertical line falling from a detecting point between the portions of the other side on a line connecting a detecting point between the images of the two portions, gains a processing error from dimensional errors by comparing a calculated dimension with a dimension supposed to be, calculates the compensation value to compensate for the processing error, and finally sets up on a controller of the device. |
