Eccentric, esp for engines having radial or rotary pistons, comprises a shaft (3), a cylindrical sleeve (4) whose outer surface defines the surface of the eccentric, and a connecting member (6) arranged between the shaft and the interior of the sleeve and supporting it in an eccentric position relative to the shaft. The connecting member is secured to the shaft pref. by non-circular interengagement therewith. Eg., the shaft may have a square cross-section (8) fitting a square hole in the connecting member. The connecting member may be a pressure diecast in situ between the shaft and the sleeve.
