PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the variations in the speed of a photoreceptor caused by the attaching operation of a secondary transfer outer roller to an intermediate transfer belt without deteriorating color shift.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an inertial body that is detachably attached to a drum drive shaft of a BK photoreceptor, and is attached to the drum drive shaft only during a monochrome mode to increase the rotation moment of the BK drum drive shaft, and thereby suppress the variations in the speed of the photoreceptor. During a full-color mode, the inertial body is separated from the drum dive shaft to prevent color shift. |
