<p>The present invention relates to a display device and an operating method thereof and, more particularly, to a display device and an operating method thereof capable of analyzing distribution rates of memorial colors in module input image data transmitted from an outer system to convert the color temperature of the module input image data into the color temperature of an original image according to the distribution rates of memorial colors and maintaining the color temperature of the module input image data. For this, the display device of the present invention comprises: an analyzing unit for analyzing the distribution rates of the memorial colors of the module input image data transmitted from the outer system; a converting unit for converting the color temperature of the module input image data, after comparing the distribution rates of memorial colors to a standard rate, according to the comparison result; an allocating unit for allocating the image data outputted by the converting unit depending on the properties of a panel to output allocated module output image data; and a data driver for converting the module output image data into output image data to output the same as the panel.</p> |
