PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system with increased security for performing personal authentication on the basis of biological information, a client terminal, an authentication server, a terminal program, and a server program.SOLUTION: The authentication system comprises a client terminal 1 and an authentication server 51, and the authentication server 51 performs biological authentication. The client terminal 1 generates multiple pieces of feature information from one piece of biological information (S102). The client terminal 1 divides authentication information into multiple authentication information blocks (S103). The client terminal 1 transmits the multiple authentication information blocks to the authentication server 51 (S104). The authentication server 51 restores the authentication information from the multiple authentication information blocks by using authentication restoration information (S111, S112). The authentication server 51 compares the restored authentication information with a template to calculate an authentication result (S113).
