<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify physical positional relation between communication devices.SOLUTION: A control unit of a mobile terminal broadcasts a search signal in a first frequency F1 radio wave format in order to identify a printer situated in the same room as the mobile terminal is situated, among printers capable of communicating by radio communication situated on the periphery (S210). Then, the control unit receives a response signal, and stores reception intensity R1 of the response signal at the first frequency F1 (S220). Further, it broadcasts a search signal in a second frequency F2 radio wave format different from the first frequency F1 (S230). Then, it receives a response signal, and stores reception intensity R2 of the response signal at the second frequency F2 (S240). After that, it determines whether or not a printer is situated in the same room as the mobile terminal is depending on whether a ratio (R2/R1) of reception intensity R2 to R1 of response signals received from the same printer corresponds to the square of a ratio (F1/F2) of the first frequency F1 to the second frequency F2 (S250).</p> |
