Hose fitting for joining protective hose to welding equipment - with inner and outer rings with surfaces in contact with the hose diverging towards the hose end

The hose fitting for joining a protective hose (1) - which surrounds a supply line - to a welding deivce (a welding torch, for example) is characterised by the following: a) an outer ring (2) - with its inner surface widening approximately conically towards the hose end - which can be slid onto the hose end, b) an inner ring (3) - with its outer surface widening approximately conically towards the hose end - which can be slid into the hose end; c) with the hose (1) interposed, a press fit produced by the outer ring (2) for the inner ring (3). The basic conical shape of the interior fo the outer ring (2) is superimposed by steps (4) with the diameters (D) increasing towards the hose end. Similarly, the exterior of the inner ring (3) is provided with steps (5) with the diameters (d) icnreasing towards the hose end. The steps (4) of the outer ring are basically cylidnrical, while the steps (5) of the inner ring have an approximately saw-tooth shaped contour. The number of steps (4,5) of the outer and inner rings (2,3) is the same. The outer ring is extended to provide protection against hose buckling. USE/ADVANTAGE - In welding equipment. It is simpler and cheaper than known alternatives.
