The goods vehicle has individually suspended rear wheels (15). The superstructure (27) is arranged with a free overhang (27) beyond the rear end of the chassis. The chassis can be lowered to the ground to form a ramp. In the inclined state of the chassis the front end of the superstructure is tilted upwards and released. As the vehicle moves forward the superstructure is gradually left on the road surface and carried by support wheels (24). USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows quick and cost-effective loading and unloading of releasable superstructure on goods vehicle.
