PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a component by which efficient welding can be achieved and welding strength can be easily controlled.SOLUTION: A mounting structure 1 of a component includes a fuel tank 2, and a component 3 mounted on the fuel tank 2 through a projected body 4 buried in a wall part 10 of the fuel tank 2. A part of the projected body 4 is molten in a forming stage of the fuel tank 2 and is welded on the fuel tank 2. The projected body 4 includes a first opposite surface 22 which is formed on a tip end side and is parallel to a mounting surface of the wall part 10, and a second opposite surface 32 which is formed nearer to a base end side than the first opposite surface 22 and is parallel to the mounting surface. More than three protruded corner parts are formed on a side cross section of the projected body 4. |
