<p>A vertical magazine frame consists of two parallel U-channel profiles (2, 3). The open side of the profiles face each other such that between them, a vertical stack of wooden battens (6) can be located. At the lower end of the frame, a slider bar (19) with gate blocks (11, 12), keeps the magazine frame normally closed. By moving the slider bar to one side, one end of the nearest batten is freed in order to drop out of the frame. When the slider bar is moved to the opposite side, the other end of the batten is able to drop out. Thus a controlled discharge from the vertical batten magazine is obtained.</p> |
