<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label preparation device in which character strings after allocation from database can be edited further and be changed upon implementing database printing.SOLUTION: A CPU provided at a label preparation device displays an initial setting screen 4A for receiving input operation of character strings each of which is arranged at blocks BL1a, BL1b, etc. and an editing screen by controlling a liquid crystal display part. The CPU receives a designation of an area W by displaying database including plural records stored in an EEPROM. Further, the CPU arranges printing objects related to each of plural printing labels in the editing screen by allocating plural character strings included in the area W to blocks BL1a, BL1b, BL2a, BL2b, ... related to each of setting images M1, M2, ... in accordance with a desired allocation rule.</p> |
