PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of improving accuracy of channel estimation in MIMO, and a communication system.SOLUTION: The communication device is configured to process a reception signal which may include a transmission signal including a unique word. The communication device comprises: a signal detection part for detecting the transmission signal from the reception signal; a signal discrimination part for discriminating a transmission signal detected by a phase rotation amount of the unique word included in the detected transmission signal; a first phase correction part for correcting a phase of the discriminated transmission signal on the basis of a phase rotation differential between the phase rotation amount of the unique word included in the discriminated transmission signal and a reference phase rotation amount corresponding to the discriminated transmission signal; a second phase correction part for correcting an error between the transmission signal of which the phase is corrected on the basis of the phase rotation differential, and an initial value of the phase; and a channel estimation part for estimating a channel on the basis of the discriminated transmission signal of which the error of the phase is corrected, and a known signal. Inverted data are added before and after the unique word.
