<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter red coloring composition capable of producing a color filter which offers enhanced brightness while maintaining high contrast, heat resistance, and solvent resistance.SOLUTION: A color filter red coloring composition contains a coloring pigment, a pigment dispersion aid containing an acid group, a pigment dispersant containing a basic group, a transparent resin, and an organic solvent. The coloring pigment contains C.I. Pigment Red 177, C.I. Pigment Red 242, and C.I. Pigment Red 254, where a blended proportion of the C.I. Pigment Red 254 in the coloring pigment is 5-30 mass%. The coloring pigment also contains 5-15 pts.mass of barium sulfate with respect to 100 pts.mass of the coloring pigment.</p> |
