CONTROL OF LIGHTING DEVICES OVER A MODULATED DC BUS

The method involves using a central rectifier/PFC unit (20) that supplies several light source operating devices using at least one d.c. output stage (11), whereby the d.c. supply voltage has a high frequency digital control signals modulated onto it using powerline technology (17) that are read out in the operating devices (1) using powerline demodulators (15) and evaluated for controlling the associated light sources (14). An independent claim is also included for a control system for light source operating devices.
