The invention relates to a system for monitoring idlers of conveyor belts, which is non-invasive, functions in situ, online and remotely, and can be quickly installed, comprising at least one sensor (100) which is installed, by means of a quick-coupling means (110) to a station of idlers (20) forming the support system of a conveyor belt (30), wherein each sensor (100) comprises: a detection module (101); a processing module (102); a communications module (103); an antenna (104); a battery (105), and a container (107), in which the detection module (101) integrates detectors (101a) having means for capturing audio signals and means for capturing acceleration signals, which generate signals that are sent to the processing module (102) so that same processes said information. The invention also relates to at least one data concentrator (200) that receives the information from the processing module (102) via the communications module (103) and the antenna (104), and to an information system (300), which receives the data in order to display same to the user, and a method for capturing the spectral information of audio and acceleration signals, for sending the spectral information to a data concentrator (200), for sending the information to the information system (300), which correlates the identification number of the sensor with the respective idler station of the belt, stores the measurements, establishes and stores the fault status, and delivers or sends a notification of the fault status to the local or remote user. |
