According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is an organic light emitting diode which includes a first electrode, an intermediate layer which is formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode which is formed on the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer includes a light emitting layer which includes an organic material, and a function layer which is formed between the second electrode and the light emitting layer and is composed of at least one of a semiconductor compound and a metal compound which includes at least one of an oxygen element and a sulfur element. Wherein, the concentration of the oxygen element gradually increases to the second electrode and the concentration of the sulfur element gradually increases to the light emitting layer.
