The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for manufacturing basalt continuous fibers, which have uniform and excellent quality and can reduce manufacturing costs by using basalt suitable for manufacturing continuous fibers. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for manufacturing basalt continuous fibers comprises: a raw material supply step of pulverizing basalt to basalt powder of less than or equal to 3 μm and supplying the same; a foreign substance removal step of heating foreign substances included in the basalt powder to be removed by oxidizing or precipitating the foreign substances at 1,200-1,400°C; a fusion step of heating and melting the basalt powder in which the foreign substances are removed at 1,350-1,600°C; a stabilization step of regulating and maintaining viscosity of a fusion liquid of basalt at 1,350-1,450°C to be stabilized; an imprint step of maintaining the stabilized fusion liquid of basalt at 960-1,150°C, imprinting and slowly cooling the same, and manufacturing initial fibers; and a finish step of spraying a surface treatment agent on the initial fibers, performing surface treatment, drying the same, and producing basalt continuous fibers. |
