The present invention relates to a content supplying apparatus, an information supplying system comprising a terminal device, and a method for controlling the same. The information supplying system includes a content supplying apparatus which generates a watermark, inserts and transmits the watermark in a predetermined location of content in real time; a display device which receives and outputs content into which the watermark is inserted; and a terminal device which receives at least one among an image of the content with the watermark and a sound from the display device, recognizes the watermark, extracting identification information from the watermark, and outputs corresponding additional information. Accordingly, the present invention inserts, extracts the watermark in various methods, and provides information to a user.
