<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction method and a reduction structure for displacement that reduce displacement of a gravity type quay or sea bank during an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: The reduction method and reduction structure for earthquake displacement of the gravity type quay or sea bank make inertia force proportional to response acceleration to a casson K small and reduce horizontal displacement of the caisson by avoiding a phenomenon of selective resonance of a caisson type gravity quay or sea bank to an earthquake wave including many frequency components by shifting a natural frequency of the caisson to a lower frequency side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
