<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that can avoid the fault of a control motor and also can simplify operation processing in a control circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control device MC is composed of a battery power supply Brt, a main relay RYL0, a relay circuit RYLC, a voltage detector Ri, an actuator ACT, a drive changeover switch TSW, an electronic control unit ECU0 incorporating a control circuit CTR, a voltage dividing resistor Rd, a Zener diode Dz, a constant voltage circuit Reg, and a communication line ST. Here, the main relay RYL0 is driven according to a drive signal Swc received from the control circuit CTR, and permits power supply via the battery power supply Btr when the drive signal Swc is High, thereby supplying power to the relay circuit RYLC.
