Disclosed are an insurance settlement system using credit card point accumulation and a method thereof. The insurance settlement system of the present invention comprises: a smart phone through which a user applies for insurance by selecting a credit card and an insurance related with the credit card through a smart phone application which is installed in advance; a credit card company server which approves the application in connection with a corresponding insurance company as to the applied credit card and insurance, and pays money of points corresponding to a monthly premium of the insurance among points accumulated monthly according to the usage of the credit card at a previously fixed premium payment date; and an insurance company server which performs approval of the application in connection with the credit card company server as to the applied insurance, and treats payment completion by monthly premium of the insurance by accepting the money of points corresponding to the monthly premium of the insurance from the credit card company server. By the premium settlement system using credit card point accumulation and the method thereof in the above, it is possible for a user to pay the affordable premium without interest by point payment, by constituting the system so that the user becomes a member of the selected insurance together as the credit card is issued and the user pays the premium monthly using the point accumulated by the credit card at every month.
