<p>Disclosed are an encoding method and an encoding system using a quantization level by each block. The encoding method, which is performed by the encoding system, includes the steps of: operating feature values according to image properties corresponding to a block which is included in compression image information and is to be quantized; determining a quantization level of the block based on the operated feature values of the block; and quantizing the block to the determined quantization level. The encoding method further includes the step of determining, by the encoding system, a quantization level different from the quantization level of the block for at least one of the blocks included in the compression image information.</p> |
