The cell has a photoelectric conversion layer (20) formed on a substrate (10). Laser beam cooperates with a patterned photomask to melt a surface of the conversion layer for forming regions (24) with projections and recesses. Another substrate (50) is arranged on a side and/or a surface of the conversion layer. An encapsulation adhesive layer (60) is arranged between the conversion layer and the latter substrate for connecting the substrates. Colored pattern layers (70) are formed on areas between the substrates, where the areas correspond to the regions with projections and recesses. The encapsulation adhesive layer is made of resilient synthetic resin or thermosetting plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a colored/patterned thin-film solar cell. |
