<p>#CMT# #/CMT# Dyeing keratin fibers, preferably human hair, comprises (a) applying a reducing composition containing reducing agents and an oxidizing composition to the fibers, (b) optionally rinsing the fibers, (c) optionally washing the fibers with shampoo and then rinsing, (d) optionally drying the fibers to dry, (e) applying a dye composition comprising one or more natural dyes in a medium on the fibers, (f) optionally washing and rinsing the fibers, and (g) drying the fibers. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The method is useful for dyeing keratin fibers, preferably human hair. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method is capable of effectively and rapidly dyeing keratin fibers without deformation and with good level of coverage of white hair. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Method: The method comprises applying the reducing composition for reducing disulfide bonds of keratin, where the keratin fibers are placed under a mechanical tension before, during or after the application step. In the method: a treatment serving to form a complex with the natural dye used in the dye composition is performed between the steps of (d)-(g); and the cosmetic composition containing one or more zinc salts in a medium is applied to the keratin fibers between the steps of (d)-(g), preferably (d) and (e). The dye composition is applied to the keratin fibers at room temperature (15-25[deg] C) to 80[deg] C, preferably 15-45[deg] C. Preferred Composition: The dye composition further: comprises one or more aromatic alcohols, preferably benzyl alcohol, phenylethanol and phenylpropanol; and one or more oxidizing agents. The dye composition comprises one or more hydrophilic or organophilic clays. Preferred Components: The natural dyes are chromene or chromane dyes, laccaic acid (both preferred), Lawsone and Henna, curcumin, alizarin, purpurin, purpurogallin, indigo, Tyrian purple, chlorophyllin, sorghum, kermesic acid, carminic acid, catechin, epicatechin, juglone, bixin, betanin or quercetin. The natural dyes are substituted chromane compounds of formula (I), substituted xanthene compounds of formula (II), anthraquinone compound of formula (III) or their tautomers and/or mesomers, stereoisomers, addition salts with an acid or base or hydrates, preferably hematin and/or Brazilian dyes. The zinc salts are zinc gluconate, zinc citrate, zinc glycinate (all preferred), zinc acetate, zinc lactate, zinc aspartate, zinc pyrrolidone carboxylate, zinc phenolsulfonate and/or zinc salicylate. optional bond : single bond or double bond, where the sequence of the bonds are two single bonds or two double bonds, and the bonds are conjugated; X : HO-C(CH 2)- or -C(=O)-; R2-R6 : alkyl, alkoxy or acyloxy (all optionally substituted), H or OH; R11-R13, R16, R19, R20 : H or 1-4C alkyl; R14, R15, R17, R18 : H, OH or 1-4C alkoxy; and R1 : phenyl (substituted with at least one hydroxy, which is present in ortho position to the bond attached to the fused rings). #CMT#[Image]#/CMT# #CMT#[Image]#/CMT#.</p> |
