PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide a copy while reducing user's burden and cost required for a device.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a communication unit for executing communication with a device in USB communication as a host in the USB communication; a scanner control unit for making an instruction including a scanning start to a scanner as the device connected to the communication unit through the communication unit; an acquiring unit for acquiring an original image generated by scanning a manuscript in response to the instruction by the scanner, through the communication unit; an image processing unit for applying predetermined image processing to the original image to generate a print image; and a printing unit for printing the print image on a printing medium.
