<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which secures sufficient releasability, fills a pattern on an original mold well with a to-be-transferred object and transfers a pattern with good accuracy.SOLUTION: In a release layer 31 provided in a mold 30 for transferring a specified irregular pattern to a to-be-transferred object 1 by imprinting, to fill the concave parts of the irregular pattern in the mold with the object 1 over the release layer 31, the surface free energy of the release layer 31 is varied by a treatment with energy so as to optimize the surface free energy. The treatment with energy is one with thermal energy and/or light energy.</p> |
