<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel switch capable of modifying a touch of moderation.SOLUTION: A wheel switch 1 includes a box-shaped holder 2 formed of a magnetic substance and a knob 4 rotatably supported by the holder 2 through a rotary shaft 3. A coil disposed in a magnetic field is provided inside the knob 4. The wheel switch 1 includes a touch feedback function for giving the touch of moderation to a rotary operation of the knob 4 by linear motion of the knob 4 caused by electromagnetic force generated in a thumb direction specified by Fleming's left-hand law.</p> |
