The test bench consists of a framework 1 comprising a table for receiving the bedding, a frame 5 on which is found at least one moving dummy supported on a longitudinal shaft 21, and positioned above the bedding, means for controlling the movements of the dummy, means for continuous analysis of the state of the bedding, consisting of sensors, these latter being associated with data-processing and display hardware for the test operations.
