Disclosed are a method and device for coordinating multi-point transmission control during cell switching, the method comprising: when determining to conduct cell switching on a terminal, a service base station deactivates coordinating multi-point transmission to the terminal, and transmits a message instructing other access network nodes involved in coordinating multi-point transmission with the terminal to deactivate coordinating multi-point transmission, the message directing deactivation of coordinating multi-point transmission carrying the identifier information of the terminal, as well as the direction to deactivate the coordinating multi-point transmission; after the other access network nodes receive the message directing deactivation of coordinating multi-point transmission transmitted by the service base station, identifying the terminal according to the identifier information thereof, and deactivating the coordinating multi-point transmission to the terminal according to the direction to deactivate coordinating multi-point transmission. An embodiment of the present invention does not need to ensure the continuity of coordinating multi-point transmission to a terminal, and solves the problem of how to deal with coordinating multi-point transmission to the terminal during cell switching of the terminal performing the coordinating multi-point transmission. |
