<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which can easily identify a direction in which a communication device to be a communication partner exists.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 100 has a camera 107, a storage unit 113, a face identification unit 110, and a direction determination unit 112. The storage unit 113 associates registered face images of a plurality of persons with a communication device which is owned by each person to store them therein. The face identification unit 110, on the basis of the face image of each person detected from the image including face images of the persons which are captured by the camera 107 and the registered face images, identifies the person associated with a detected face image. The direction identification unit 112 identifies the direction in which the communication apparatus which is owned by the identified person exists, in accordance with an area in which the face image in the image which is captured by the camera 107 is displayed.</p> |
