PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting system for preventing the deterioration of the mounting accuracy of a component even when there exists a shaft member whose maintenance is insufficient on the mounting head of a component mounting machine.SOLUTION: The component mounting system includes: a maintenance execution part 42 for executing the maintenance of a shaft member 32 of a mounting head 25; inspection means (load cell 51 and control part 54) for inspecting each shaft member 32 whose maintenance has been executed by the maintenance execution part 42; use properness or improperness determination means (use properness or improperness determination part 28c of control device 28) for determining whether or not the use of the shaft member 32 whose maintenance has been executed is proper on the basis of the result of inspection by the inspection means; and registration means (registration control part 28a and storage part 28b of control device 28) for registering the shaft member 32 whose use is determined to be improper by the use properness or improperness determination means. A component mounting machine 12 restricts the use of the shaft member 32 registered by the registration means.
