PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus capable of reliably and safely operating a switching element without causing a pulse generator to output an erroneous drive signal.SOLUTION: When a second drive pulse for driving a second switching element 14 is output, the induction heating apparatus prohibits to output a first trigger signal from a first synchronous signal generation circuit 3 for detecting a resonance voltage of a first heating coil 1. When a first drive pulse for driving the first switching element 12 is output, the induction heating apparatus prohibits to output a second trigger signal from a second synchronous signal generation circuit 7 for detecting a resonance voltage of a second heating coil 5.
