PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for performing a series of processing by reacting a biological sample with a reagent, the device being capable of treating the biological sample (e.g., a specimen) in batch and also treating the same in succession as needed by charging it at random.SOLUTION: Reaction vessels 110 having a plurality of treatment parts (wells) 501-506 are juxtaposed in a reaction vessel setting part and installed so as to be able to move independently of each other in a direction in which the treatment parts (wells) are arranged. A plurality of stems 401 are arranged above the reaction vessels 110 so as to be able to move up and down, each corresponding to the respective reaction vessels. The arrangement is made in a direction intersecting the movement direction of the reaction vessels. The reaction vessels 110 and a stem mechanism 111 are operated together so that, when one of the treatment parts 501-506 of each of the reaction vessels 110 comes directly below the stem mechanism 111 according to a treatment procedure, its corresponding stem 401 or a magnetic substance chip 402 mounted in it, and its cover 405 are controlled so as to be able to get in and out of the treatment parts. |
