The invention relates to thickeners for surfactant-containing cosmetic or dermatological preparations, to preparations containing said thickeners and to the use thereof. The inventive selection from the thickeners ethoxylated fatty acid glycerol esters and ethoxylated fatty alcohols and from the co-thickeners ethoxylated fatty acid partial glycerides or ethoxylated fatty acid methyl glycosides and/or the mixtures thereof in cosmetic or dermatological preparations has positive synergistic effects. The combination of the thickeners results in cosmetic preparations, especially preparations with a high non-ionic surfactant content that are pleasantly viscous, have good flowablity properties and are easy to spread. The cosmetic product is clear, transparent and does not turn yellow. The preparations, especially hair cleaning and care preparations, are advantageously viscous, are pleasant to the eye and can be easily spread on skin and hair. |
