<p>Provided is a cleaning body for cleaning an object to be cleaned, in which the object-cleaning effect has been effectively improved. In the cleaning implement, the cleaning body is split into a left and right pair of long split cleaning sections. Each split cleaning section is provided with an insertion hole (115) into which a holding body (142) is inserted, and a space (125) allowing the insertion of the object to be cleaned is provided between the split cleaning sections. The cleaning body includes an expanded portion wherein the interval (L1) between the insertion holes (115, 115) is wider than the interval (L3) between the holding bodies (142, 142) before the cleaning body holder is attached. Accordingly, when the holding bodies (142, 142) are inserted, the fiber assemblies of the split cleaning sections at the expanded portion move towards each other so as to overlap in the direction intersecting the length direction of the split cleaning portions within the space (125).</p> |
