<p>PURPOSE: A linear compressor and a piston applied thereto are provided to miniaturize and lighten the compressor by simplifying the shape of a motor cover and to prevent a magnetic force leak. CONSTITUTION: A linear compressor comprises a cylinder, a linear motor, and a piston. The cylinder has a compression space. The linear motor comprises an inner stator and an outer stator. One end of the inner stator is connected to one end of the outer stator. The connected end of the inner and outer stators is installed on the outer surface of the cylinder. The piston is composed of a head unit(241) inserted into the cylinder and a nonmagnetic flange(242) coupled to the head unit.</p> |
