PURPOSE:To transmit data of all observation points by one piece of optical fiber by synthesizing optical data signals whose wavelengths are different at every observation point by an optical multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:Observation devices 5-1-5-3 are arranged in different places, respectively, and the observation circuits 5-1-5-3 monitor environment and a state of each observation point and outputs optical data signals of each different intrinsic wavelength lambda1, lambda2, and lambda3. Optical multiplexers 2-1-2-3 synthesize the optical data signals of different wavelengths lambda1, lambda2, and lambda3 and output them to one piece of optical fiber 6 in an optical cable. The optical fiber 6 transmits the optical data signal, and an optical direct amplifier 3 provided in a repeating point amplifies directly the optical data signal transmitted by the optical cable from light to light. A terminal station equipment 4 knows environment and a state of each observation point by separating and analyzing the optical data signal at every wavelength lambda1, lambda2, and lambda3. |
