PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing the influence of an EMC(Electro-Magnetic Compatibility) noise generated from a substrate for liquid crystal as the drive circuit of a liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a front cabinet 21; a back cabinet 50 for covering the back face of the front cabinet; a panel module 30 placed such that the front side peripheral edge is brought into contact with the front cabinet; a substrate 32 for liquid crystal to be extracted from the end edge of the liquid crystal panel; and a substrate cover 26 made of electromagnetic wave shield materials to be attached to the front cabinet for covering the substrate for liquid crystal.
