PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably perform decoration to a heat resistant member.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a painted heat resistant member as a heat resistant member on which an image is painted, including: a drawing step S102 of discharging the ink drops of an ink at least including an organic matter-containing pasty liquid; an ultraviolet polymerization type organic matter as an organic matter polymerized by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays; and an inorganic pigment dispersed into the pasty liquid onto a medium 50 of a heat resistant member by an ink jet head 12 and also irradiating the surface of the medium 50 with ultraviolet rays to paint an image onto the medium 50; and an organic matter removing step S104 of heating the medium 50, thus removing the organic component included in the ink on the medium 50.
