<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cell concentrate capable of maintaining an excellent cell recovery rate without increasing a liquid passage rate of cells when concentrating a cell suspension.SOLUTION: A method for producing a cell concentrate uses a hollow fiber module in which the inside diameter of a hollow fiber type separation membrane is 540-600μm, the fiber number is 200-350, and a membrane area is 0.04 m2 to 0.13 m2; and comprises (a) concentrating a cell suspension, while introducing the cell suspension from a cell suspension entrance and discharging a filtrate from a filtrate exit, and (b) recovering, into a recovery container, the cell concentrate obtained by introducing the cell suspension from the cell suspension entrance and delivering from the cell suspension exit. The capacity of the hollow fiber module is 57-152 ml, the pore size of the hollow fiber separation membrane is 0.1-1μm, and the material of the hollow fiber separation membrane is a polyethersulfone hollow fiber.</p> |
